Abstract

Global Citizenship Education: Topics and Learning Objectives is a UNESCO publication that provides pedagogical guidance for integrating global citizenship education into formal and non-formal education systems. The document presents key topics and learning objectives designed to develop learners’ knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes. It focuses on three interconnected learning domains: cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioural. The publication addresses global issues, human rights, cultural diversity, social justice, peace, sustainability, and responsible citizenship.
