CONSIDERAÇÕES ACERCA DO PROCESSO DE COMPRAS VERDES APLICADAS ÀS EMPRESAS PÚBLICAS E PRIVADAS

Abstract

This article outlines on an aspect of logistics that has been studied and has shown great progress in recent years, especially in public organizations. It is meant "Green Purchasing" as the process of acquiring goods and services, based on analysis of environmental impacts, from birth to the final disposal, within the Supply Chain. This article seeks to highlight the deployment issue of Green Procurement in public and private organizations based on case studies in both sectors, assess the implementation of the process on the organizations studied and analyze the main barriers exist. A company that invests in Green Purchasing influence sustainable growth, competitiveness and technological advancement of the region. The company, when chooses to prioritize the purchase in a Sustainable way, must know how to review and define the environmental requirements of the supplier in a contract. This search adds value for both the environmental as human health, as they are high quality products designed to have greater durability and minimize its impact on society and the environment. Thus, the article shows that the Public Procurement has great impact and economic influence, because when a bid is made, the market moves outrageously due the greatness of the purchase. In the private sector, the bureaucracy to achieve political support for the budget necessary for changing processes, or even a little-used culture to the new system may hinder the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices.
