Abstract

This article aims to present the current discussion in the field of Tourism about Hospitality, in the light of the theory of complexity. The discussion itself is not new, however, in the field of semantics, due to its polysemy, the word <hospitality> runs the risk of becoming an ambiguous expression, or it can also run the risk that the expressions that mean so much run, of ending meaning nothing else. With the contribution of complex thinking in the terms dealt with by Edgar Morin, we seek to establish a dialogical link between some of the different approaches to hospitality to understand, even if inconclusive, tourist hospitality.
