dc.description.abstractIn May 2009 came one of the first large-scale events entirely online: 7 SENAEAD (National Seminar on Distance Education) This meeting was promoted by Brazilian researchers with the support of ABED (Brazilian Association of Education distance). We had the opportunity to join this virtual space by organizing a group discussion on learning styles and distance education. To our surprise the accession of numerous collaborators was immense and the discussions were wide in a week of event. The questions and thoughts were so interesting that we decided to organize a collaborative material in order to theorize about learning styles and distance education and help with discussions and questions presented.en_US
